Steriale System
The Steriale System is a sterilization and IN-SITU management system for Infectious Biological Waste, installed in a modules at the healthcare facility, allowing the sterilization of Infectious and Sharps into common waste (also known as municipal solid waste) generating better Cost, Biosafety, Ecology and Traceability solutions through the whole waste management process at a health unit. The whole system is provided as a service, without the need to invest in CAPEX, paying only for actual waste treated, by weight or container, and disposables.

Chemical and radioactive wastes continue with their normal treatment process.

Getting to know the System
Disposables

Waste Disposal
Disposables are placed into containers or compactable containers.
Containers and Compactable Containers

Safe Waste Transport
Containers are sterilized in autoclave
Autoclaves

Waste Treatment with GPRS System
Treated waste is disposed of as municipal solid waste
Demo of patented container opening system
System (to unlock) is activated only during sterilization.
Prior to sterilization, container remains locked & sealed.
Patented Sharps Waste Container
Reusable container, in which only the internal cardboard module is discarded, made of recyclable material. It has safety systems that prevent its opening before sterilization.
What happens after a Steriale System sterilization cycle?

All autoclaves have a 50 minutes cycle time.
- Containers are back in use
- Disposables, along with treated waste, have become municipal solid waste.
- Management information is sent to the system via the Internet (no computer required).
- Low water consumption (1 - 20 liters, based on weight treated).
- Low energy consumption
- All exhaust air is sterilized
- Inert organic matter goes directly to the sewer system

Software Trackability
The Steriale application revolutionizes infectious biological waste management in healthcare environments. Our software offers a comprehensive solution that optimizes the sterilization process, ensures regulatory compliance and improves operational efficiency. Discover how Steriale can transform your hospital waste management system

- Each container's weight (kg)
- Containers and Autoclaves location
- Date and time of each sterilization, step by step
- Activity Logging for each cycle, malfunction, automatic maintenance request
- Reports in Excel and PDF, by autoclave, by container, by date, etc...
Some Steriale System advantages
Significant reduction in operating and hospital waste management costs.
System eliminates handling of waste bags moved to the sterilization unit, to safely handling and moving in Steriale containers.
Improves safety by eliminating exposure risks due to accidental opening of container lid.
Electronic control and tracking of all containers and their contents.
Contribute to the environment by drastically reducing the use of plastic disposables.
Up to 50% reduction in waste volume. Up to 75% reduction in empty containers storage.
Reduction in waste retrieval frequency.
Low impact on the environment, from generation to waste disposal at the hospital.
Endorsed by authorities globally for reliable waste management
