The Steriale recyclable cardboard consumable is designed specifically for use with the Steriale container for sharps infectious biological waste. It is offered in 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 7.5 liter versions, allowing for flexible adaptation according to waste volume needs.
Each carton consumable is easy to assemble and store efficiently thanks to its foldable and compact design.
Intended Use
The Steriale cardboard consumable has been designed for the safe storage and transport of hazardous hospital waste, including sharp, perforating or blunt materials. Its use in combination with the Steriale container ensures safe handling and minimizes the risk of occupational accidents for operators.
Once filled, the carton consumable, together with the lid, must be sterilized. After sterilization, the patented closure system ensures that it cannot be reopened.

- The sterilization indicator tape of the Steriale system is an additional resource that allows to visually identify if the waste has been properly sterilized.

Patented Technology
Our reusable sharps container, patented by Steriale, combines safety, sustainability and efficiency in sharps waste management. Its external structure is made of resistant and reusable plastic, while inside, the waste is deposited in a recyclable cardboard collector with a permanent closure system. This innovative design ensures that the cardboard cannot be removed or handled prior to sterilization, reducing the risk of exposure. Once sterilized, the inner container remains securely sealed. In addition, according to local regulations, we offer a shredding machine to process the sterilized material, providing an even more efficient and environmentally friendly solution.
